Along The Way

Was headed up to a favorite spot, but saw this along the way. Some of my most successful shots have been places like that.

I made sure I captured this with the 4x5 as well. Plan to shoot it with the 8x10 tomorrow.

Beautiful colors and patterns here. Really makes me want to get out for fall colors.

I like the way you've arranged the trees in your comp. The orange color is quite intense, but it's a lovely mix with the yellow.

Beautiful scene here Michael. Reminds me of, and makes me miss, CO in autumn. I bet this will look incredible on the 8X10!

Sensational color and detail, especially in the larger version. I might prefer a crop without the green boardering trees, and maybe the far right cluster to include more trunks and oranges. Anyway, a beauty.

Another pretty one Michael. I might crop a wee bit off the left side, but that's minor.

Before I say a slight crop from the left may benefit the scene, I'll say the aspens and explosive colors are quite intense, making for an incredible image!

Very cool, and I loved the large version...

Love the oranges here, Michael, but it still doesn't beat your first aspen post this year with the black background! That one was epic.

Very nice. The birches stand out on the "leaf fire" background.

Michael, the clusters of trunks make for an appealing kind of rhythm to me. I especially like the steep slope, which adds another interesting element to me. Colors are incredibly beautiful to my eye.
