Waterlily

Its been a couple of years since I've found a waterlily facing in the right direction for this type of shot. Took a quick trip to Longwood and was pleasantly surprised to find their waterlily ponds at peak. Taken with Canon 7D, using 100-400 IS lens.

Need a new title and any other comments welcomed.

Patricia,

You are lucky to find a waterlily in this position. I think this shot is superb. The comp. and DOF are right on. The colors are rich and the detail makes the image. The water droplets are an added bonus.

I've never seen a lily this colour - this is gorgeous! Wonderful detail, "pose" and perspective.

This is a lovely image, with striking colors and a wonderful quality of light. Title is not so important as all the beautiful elements in the photo.
