This did not look like anything interesting from the thumbnail, but I am glad I looked! What a super rich image! I love all the detail & the silky rich tones!

Ken: Marvelous elements, colors and comp. I especially like the birch bark. Superbly done and a worthy addition to your collection of fine autumn images. >=))>

Ken - Wonderful assortment of autumn stuff. The light birch bark (?) and the darker leaves provide rich contrast. The sheen on the leaves along with the textures makes this a special shot for me.
Very well done

Great mix of flora and terrific detail (gotta love the D800/E). My only suggestion would be to lose the patch of bare earth at the bottom of the frame; I think you have room to crop it out from the bottom and not lose any of the overall feel of the image....

Really a perfect arrangement of bark, fern and leaves. The texture throughout is just awesome!! I am not a big fan of the dirt patch at the bottom since it is the only one disrupts the flow for me. If you could crop some and content aware some, I think it would really be a home run!
