This 2 inch fingerling fell victim to a fish kill due to petrol spill on Turtle Creek. Natue was at work as the bugs begin to do their work.

If you're gonna post a dead fish, this is definitely the right place for it Rick
Well presented & a good example of man's negative impact on the ecosystem

More dead fish?
Seriously, this is a sad commentary on man's negligence.

The sad fact is Turtle Creek is one of the pristine creeks in uptown Dallas but when we get lots of rain as last week, the water that ends up in the creek draining from Interstate 45 and the oil residue from that busy freeway ends up in the creek and then out to the Trinity River.
I was out today looking for leaves turning and this little guy was gasping his last breath. The oil residue was showing so I called the city once again. Waiting for a response.
The creek also get lots of plastic bags and styrofoam cups too.

I would like to see something in the image that says 'pollution" like rainbow colors from oil or something.

Congrats on the weekly pick!
It's not a pretty picture but then it's not a pretty event. The image tells the story well.
