Excellent detail on the froggy! Love the blues and greens -

If this is 80%, I bet you could also do an alternate crop much closer to the frog to showcase that detail.

I'll give it a shot Sandy. The image out of the camera was difficult to separate the frog from the background. I tried NIK Color Efex pro and was happy as can be that the color contrast feature allowed me to get enough difference in the frog and BG. I love that program.

I also noticed since loading this here that I should do a reduction of brightness on the foreground rock the the right. Please Sandy and everyone, critique me, I'm more than a little sloppy on some things. [g]

Charlie - one thing I do is take a good look at every part of the larger image after I post it. About 30% of the time, I see a blip or something I don't like, delete the image, re-work it, and post it again. Things look odd after posted sometimes, when they seem fine on my computer.
This only works, though, if you catch the blip before anyone posts. After there are comment(s), you can't delete it.

It could be that the image is actually different, but some are just my not being careful enough. And I have, like you say, deleted and redone some.

I like this 'habitat' approach to this frog image Charlie. I think it is pretty unique with that flowing water in the BG. Hence I would not suggest to go for a tighter crop at all!!! I would, however, consider to crop a liver off the FG to get rid of the blown OOF rock. Thanks for sharing this most interesting from image. :toast:
