Really like the placement in the frame & downward angle, the parted beak adds well too.

Angela, excellent angle on the bird and the calling pose adds a lot. Nice composition and you even got color in the eye in flight. The whites aren't "hot" in a threshold layer (brightest are only 254) and I think, given the blacks and whites of the bird, that your exposure is about right. There is a narrow halo around the blacks though.

A very good flight shot, Angela. Both eye color and open bill. For me, though, the angle makes the shot. I agree with Ron about the slight halo.
