White flower from Swiss Alps, particularly from Chesieres-Villars in Canton Vaud (high-1,300m a.s.l.) above Geneva Lake.
It looks like hibiscus but it is not a hibisscus. Can somebody identify it???

Like the image a lot, Miro - the centring of the flower works well with the deeper whites of the buds somehow enhancing the effect. The flower centre and droplets are beautifully sharp. Maybe a mallow of some kind ? - they certainly have hibiscus-like centres

This is nice, Miro. Well composed and exposed for the whites. Looks like a hibiscus too me as well, so I can't help with the ID.

Miro, I can not say with certainty what this flower is, it might be a Hibiscus. Really nice comp and the whites look super with wonderful detail. Your choice of dof was a good one! A beautiful presentation.

Miro - Without a doubt from the Hibiscus (Mallow) family. I like the pink pollen structures on the white petals and also the water drops. Background is sufficiently dark to highlight the main flower without much distraction. Good Work.

Hello good Friends!
Many thanks for your comments. I'm still trying to find out the proper identification of this flower.
As I said I've taken this photo in the Mountains at 1,300m (4,265ft) altitude, area with winter temperatures as low as -20C (-4F). According to my knowledge hibiscus is native to warm temperature regions and mostly grows in form of shrubs and small trees.
The flower on the photo belongs, IMO, to herbaceous plant.
For better illustration I've attached another photo of the same flower (in pink color) showing the stem as well. Das this belongs to hibiscus family? I'd grateful for your advise. :wavey:

I'd have sure guessed Hibiscus of some sort Miro. You captured this flower well, with great control of the whites. Really nice.

Miro:
Another affirmative for Hibiscus.

Beautifully captured. Love the center composition and the water drops.
