Autumn Splendor
by Tom Haxby
In some areas of Northern Michigan we are getting our best fall colors in years. The weather when I took this was rain, sleet, sun all at one time. I did some burning of the sky, but those clouds were really quite ominous as they are lake effect clouds. Yes, I know that there are a few close aspen along the lower edge, but I was on the edge of a steep bank and shooting between trees. That, and I do not mind having something to show the perspective. Oh yeah, tough to reduce the file size to fit the specs. so the jpg compression is probably going to be obvious.
