Greater Yellowlegs taken in early morning light. I like the reflections of the cattails, now all wearing their fall colors, in the water.

Nikon D300s, 300 mm lens, plus 1.4 teleconverter, f 5.6, 1/8000, ISO 640.

May, this is beautiful. Love the ripples and water color. I would have the bird a bit lower in the frame to include more of the color on top.

Lovely fall colors reflected in the water. Very appealing overall. Maybe move the crop to just below the reflected head and more on the top?

This is stunning May. The reflection of both the foliage and the bird accented by the water ring offers a standout composition.
