Solitude Beach

Red Cliff beach, Yuraygir National Park, New South Wales, Dec 2009.

I walked for miles back and forth along this beach without seeing another soul... loved it!

D80, Sigma 10-20 lens @10mm, 1/4sec, f/11, ISO 100, SR Color Combo CP.

Still trying to finish off some shots that have been on the back-burner way too long. Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated.

I like the way you've composed this with the sky dominating the scene, the wave action is also very nice and is made even better by the colors reflecting in it...

I like the motion blur in the water, and the clouds are really cool. The sky behind the clouds in the upper left looks pretty dark. Probably the CP filter. Depends on the look you're going for. I assume photo-realistic unless otherwise stated.

A great sky to compliment some very nice wave action, David. I also like your diagonal placement of the shoreline. A beautiful image for sure.

David, This is really an interesting shot...and very nice! Those clouds are great and your comp works so well showing them off. Some excellent detail too as seen in the large version. I enjoy looking at this!
