Taken at the Yuba River in September. Canon 5D Mark II, f9, 1/40. And can anyone ID those huge leaves? Thanks.

No idea on the leaves, Lucy. The interplay between the rock reflection and the underwater light are what interest me here. It's a somewhat abstract element here that I like.

The light on the river bottom, looking through the reflections is fascinating.

The combination of reflections and seeing through to the bottom is really interesting. I like the warm-cool contrast as well. I've seen those leaves before, but I can't identify them by name.

I like the dark tones contrasted with the very light tones.
The location of 'space' in interesting, too.
Fluid and rock texture works.
Splash of color works also.
The eye is easily pulled from lower left to upper right.
I like this photo.
