Eastern Whipbird
by Rob Drummond
These birds like wet forest and scrub and spend most of their time in the leaf litter. They are easier to see in the rainforest where it's a bit more open. This one has popped up onto a low vine. Their whip-crack call is a characteristic sound of the bush.
