Delta Agriculture Project, spring 2012. I'd like the head to be a little sharper, but couldn't get the aperture adjusted before he flew off.

Full frame. Usual sharpening drill.

The entire bird is sharp enough to suit my tastes Jim. Nice background and the perch fine by me. Maybe slice a bit off the top? Just an opinion.

A wonderful display of feather colors and the head turn gives some good eye contact. I have never seen one of these so I am not sure if their beaks are usually dark red or something else is going on? Nice job getting this full frame image.

A beautiful specimen Jim and great job getting it full frame. Nice head turn and I love the color of the background with the bird. I agree that the head is slightly soft.

Great image overall and the background is a perfect match. Love the light. Full Frame. Must have been able to feel the air and he flew away.
