Hi all.

Here is another version of the same dahlia that I posted a couple of days ago. I liked this version, and thought that it addressed some of your concerns with the other photo.

I do think I could have cropped a bit from the bottom of the shot. I do have one more version to post.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Edit: Thanks to Mark for pointing out the blob of yellow that I missed at the bottom edge - I need to clone that out, and would have done that had I noticed it.

Wonderfully framed Nathan, love the colour. I agree, you could crop from the bottom but only a little.

I like these abstracts. This has just the right combination of sharpness and softness. I would crop up from the bottom or de-saturate the yellow at the bottom. It draws my eye to the edge of the frame immediately.

@Mark: Thanks. I totally missed that blob of yellow at the bottom of the frame. Yes, I would clone that out, had I seen it.

I agree with the crop suggestion and deemphasizing the yellow. I also liked the previous version better. Both photos might benefit from a crop to 4:5.

Not that I don't like both!

Nathan - I agree with your self assessment about space at the bottom. I think cropping some will create more balance.

Love the dreamy feel and a better symmetry here and look forward to the next one.

Ditto on the crop, but another one equal to the last. Looking forward to more.

They all look nice, Nathan. Both have soft lines and sublime light. I opened the two larger photos to compare; I slightly prefer your first image because of its sharpness.

Nathan, I love the design and the delicacy of the image. I like it as it is.
