Ian:
Wonderful fall color! Like the graduation of red from left to right and the diagonal branches. Only nit is no larger version to feast on this eye candy!

Nice comp. Seems to have a very yellow cast to the branches though.

Beautiful light and color, Ian, and I like the very artistic comp. Regarding the dof, it's a little hard to judge at this size. I like the way the leaves are rendered, but I wish the main branches were sharper. May not have been possible to get the efect you were aftrer, with sharper branches, in a single image.

Gorgeous color combinations, light, and the comp plays it all like sweet music.

I think your choice of DOF works great in this image. The repeating lines of the branches sweeping across the frame makes a pleasing composition. I agree there's a color cast in the branches but I think it's natural. It comes from the light filtering through the red leaves.

Ian - Superb Autumn Colors here. Reds really stand out from the diagonals from the greens and yellows in the background. You could think of darkening the branches a wee bit more for a more punchy feel if that is possible in post processing.

For me, it’s a pleasant fall image seen through a window, Ian. Love these colors and light.
