Small flocks of these birds were working their ay through the scrub and long grass on the rainforest fringes.

Real nice comp with the lone leaf nicely balancing the image. Perch and bird are nicely detailed. A very nice image! Sharon

What a cute bird. Beautiful colors. I like the simplicity of this image. I am glad you chose to keep the bird small in the frame.

Really nice Rob. The small splashes of color really draw my eye. Nice overall comp too. Question. How do you like the 5D3? Did you use any NR on this given you shot at ISO 3200? Was this shot in RAW or Jpeg? Thanks for your help.

Hi Ron,
I really like the 5D3. I've found it wonderful in low light conditions and excellent AF. I always apply a little NR to the background of nearly all my shots. Always RAW,

It is amazing to me the variety of birds you have in Australia. Excellent placement within the frame for a wonderful composition is such low light conditions. Way to go Rob, the larger image was pleasure to view.
