Hand held at the Cockrell Butterfly Center in Houston, TX. This pure beauty has seen better days. She was very tired but still very elegant. Kind of like me! LOL

Focal Length: 100mm macro
Aperture: f/7.1
Shutter Speed: 1/25
ISO: 640

Please let me know your thoughts and thank you for looking.

Wonderful sharp detail for a hand held shot. I especially like the varying shades of green. Those delicate wings take a beating in their short lives.

Very striking subject, Tim. The green markings are amazing. I like the you got this in full wingspan from behind. It provides a perfect view of the BF. Thanks for sharing.
