Autumn River Twilight

I shot this about a week ago in the early AM twilight. This is an exposure blend in Lightroom 4.

The trees are actually a bit brighter than they were to my eye, but I think that lends some visual interest and shows the start of the fall color. The twilight sky has been an odd powder blue color the last week or two around here.

The compressed versions appear to have haloing around the one mountain, but at actual size, it is just that the mountain is back lit.

Wonderful Brad. This has great mood, mystery, and wow factor. The large version is absolutely breathtaking. Excellent processing skills here - well done.

This is one of those images that just has to be seen large to be fully appreciated. I could just sit here and stare and explore every bit of it for a long, long time.

The larger version is a must see, the thumbnail really doesn't do it justice. Very well seen and captured!

Very moody and I like the way the water leads you into the image.

Another beauty. I remember the vertical version, too. This one has amazing details that can really be appreciated in the larger version, even though the vertical version is a bit more eye-catching at first because of the more colorful sky. In this exposure, it's easier to appreciate the details of the whole scene because the sky does not steal the show.

Thanks for the feedback. This is a location that I revisit as it is only a few miles from home and is actually on my way to work. This one is from a different day than the first post Wayne mentions. I shot it again yesterday as well, and the fall color is better, and the sky is different again.

This has to be seen large to get the full impact. Beautifully done.
