Out for an evening walk

I happened to visit this folder after couple of years. Actually the frame before this one, when Tiger looked into the camera, became so famous that I never processed anything else. When I gave this picture a try, I realised that it's not bad either.
This is one of the most picturesque spot in Corbett, Gethiarao.
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views !

IMHO it is a beautiful image. I even like the twisted branch in the LRC, it fills in what could have been a dead space. Maybe just a touch of leveling as it seems to have a slight tilt to the right. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful cat and nice environment. Needs a bit of CCW rotation to level the water and far bank.
Another nice tiger image!

Must be nice getting to see tigers in the wild! I agree that it could use a little rotation...also it is a little centered for my tastes, but that is a matter of opinion  .

Classic Corbett setting, and the lighting on the tiger is superb, as is the splash made by his feet. Rotation has already been alluded to, but I would try to clone out the partially submerged twig to the right and the two small stones, one in the foreground and the one just behind the tiger's back to see if that improves the image even more.

What a beautiful animal and a great setting to photograph it in - I agree with the levelling, but also I think it's a bit of a shame that the full reflection isn't in the photograph, but maybe that wasn't possible. I'm curious about your other tiger shot now, so I'm going to have a look at that straight away
Grtz, Ingrid.

Hi Jagdeep,

It is easy to overlook good shots that are taken before or after a GREAT shot...but that sure doesn't diminish their value. We're fortunate you decided to look in that folder again!

With the exception of the rotation (which I noticed at first glance), there's little I'd change here. Lighting is great and I personally like the 3 objects (or groups of objects) that surround the tiger - to me they give nice environmental context and somehow "frame" the subject. Absolutely beautiful setting...

Thanks for finding and sharing this one!

Cheers...

Brad

What a gorgeous animal Jagdeep. Great color and composition. It feels just a tiny bit like it is slanting to the right.

Thanks friends !
Agree about the rotation, I'm still prone to stupid mistakes.
As for the full reflection, it was not possible, as the shore was full of white rocks in the river.

What Ajit said, except for the rock in the bg. Very nice Jagdeep - they look even better when standing in the water.
