Well... With your help and comments here is what I ended up with and I think I've pretty much done what I could to bring out the most in the image. I might re-visit it some time in the future when my PP skills improve or someone else wants to play around with it. Thanks for all the previously posted comments.

This ended up coming out really nice Bob. You brought the shadows out just enough to not take away from that awesome sky. If you want, I can play around with it and see if you like what I do, but you did a fine job with this already.

Very dramatic to say the least Bob. Wonderful shadow detail in this version specially the light on the rock form in the lower left.

Bob: Just got back from my first ever trip to the north rim. I had cloudless skies and smoke to deal with but the smoke may have worked out. I like this a lot and for my money the north side is so much more enticing than the south. Nicely done.>=))>

Looks good, Bob! My only suggestion is maybe warm it up a bit/desaturate the blues/greens. It's a warm image, so i dont think you can overdo the warm colors.

Close to perfect with a wee bit too much saturation.

Definitely got it going on now. You could still tone down the saturation a tiny bit but it looks really good as is

That's pretty good, Bob. The greens seem a bit intense to me, but the light is what's really holding my attention.

The rays of sunlight make this a dramatic image, well done. Ron :toast:

This looks very dramatic. I really love it but I would suggest to desaturate the blues and greens a little bit. The light is just awesome
