Another bald eagle photo from the Hood Canal this June. This was made as the eagle began to turn after spying a possible meal in the tide pools below.

Canon MkIV, 600mm, f6.3, 1/2000, ISO 640, cropped 30% top, bottom and left side.

Nice photo. I like the back view of the wings as there is more interesting detail than the underside. And the blue-green BG sets the warm colors of the bird off wonderfully. Nice shot.
