Morning Dew
by Patricia Brundage
When the weather turns cool the dew on the roses draws me to a rose garden near my home. On this particular morning the roses were especially beautiful. Taken with Canon 7D, 100-400 IS lens and a 500D macro filter. A bit of a crop, levels and a tiny bit of sharpening.

The alternate would be to focus more on the front petal edge but this is personal taste. The darker curve petal in the lower half of left edge is a little out of place and you may want to consider excluding this from the frame.
What a stunning rose detail. The water drops give a great focuspoint for the eye to follow, and I love the purple /yellows. Very lovely!
