I like the pose and perch. Not a lot of color, but authentically seen, I believe.

He's checking you out as you take this photo Charles. You have created a mood with the darkness and understated colors. I do think I might prefer this if there were more light in the shadowed areas. Solid composition for sure and a pleasing background.
