Fairy Wings

Today out at a local Park. These little guys flock around you when you go out there expecting food and I oblige. So it is a trade off they get food and I get pictures.

This was taken with my new D800 and processed with CS6, also new. I had the feeling that, although, I use the same procedure as I did with CS4, that it was oversharpened. What do you think?

Nikon D800, f5.6, ISO 640, 1/2500, 300 plus 1.4 teleconverter, HH.

Thanks for looking and critiques appreciated.

May

Love the uplifted wings here May. The sharpening looks good to me. When I changed from CS3 to CS5, I noticed that I needed to apply less sharpening, also having a camera with that many mp may lead to not needing to sharpen as much. :toast:

No problem with me either, the bigger image looks great in terms of sharpness. Have fun with your new toy!

Sweet action capture May  Nice details where it counts and great wing position. Sharpening looks perfect to me in the larger version.

Sharpening looks good here as well. Nice wing position and BG. Don't know if you have it but just a bit more on top wouldn't hurt. :toast:

Nice and dynamic shot May, I also like the almost duotone colors in this image. Well done, cheers, Hans
