Somewhere between -20°F & -30°F on Thompson Pass, Alaska as the sun was dropping below the horizon but still lighting up the ice fog in the background of this scene with a pinkish glow.

Sony DSC-F707, ISO-100, f5.0, 1/200, 2 frames stitched.

Fabulous Gary!

I love ice fog and you've captured this well. Really like the color palette created by fog/sun/ice, and the rim lighting that's happening through the brush in the foreground on the right.

Very nice winter shot, Gary! I love the wonderful texture of the frosted plants sandwiched between the smooth snow and sky. Great lighting and colors; the lighting in the sky adds a touch of warmth and helps highlight the "skyline" of the plants. The pano comp works great for this scene.

The pano format and the subtle color shift across the frame work really well. Sure does look cold.
