Playing With Mirrors #1

Well, I've never tried to mirror an image before - but have been intrigued by some of the results posted here, and thought I would give it a try.

Must admit, it was kind of fun.

Not sure I quite get where to start (or stop) yet, but this one started as a hippo's nose and ended up reminding me of something more metalic, so figured I'd post it for feedback.

This is the original image - yes, hippo sweat is a reddish color

Very nice! The central feature makes me think of a space ship, or maybe clams stuck in one of those old aluminum ceilings. I'd probably crop off the two extra halves on each end to focus more on the center feature, but that's my artistic vision, not yours. The original is pretty neat as well.

Interesting - perhaps more interesting is that I recognized it as hippo features right away!
