Bald Eagle Diving

Here's a Bald Eagle shot from our workshop at Hood Canal, WA last summer. All of the shots here are of eagles feeding naturally, no baiting involved, they are feeding on spawning sculpin which are trapped by receding tides. This one has spotted a fish from high up and is swooping down on the way to collect it. This is just over 50% of the original frame.

This looks very good to me, Nate. Hard working bird (based on the tail) in a dynamic flight posture with great light and exposure.

A slight loss of IQ in the wings due to the crop but hey, I wont get hung up on that. This is a sweet image Nate. Congrats.
