I know they're overdone, but this dewey web drew me in, got me close, and captured my soul.

Delicate and jeweled. Would have preferred less of the foreground twigs, but the web has to be built attached to something.

Hi Justin. Welcome to NPN and the Macro and Close Up gallery. This is a striking image. The backlighting + dew work very well to bring out the delicate and beautiful design of the web. The oof stalk just right of center is unfortunate, but does help convey the feeling of intimacy with the subject. Personally, I would crop the top to eliminate the bright area at the top, including the oof pinkish area. Thanks for sharing this excellent image.

Overdone huh? Well I don't have one! I'd certainly like to have this one, it's a beauty! I suppose I'd prefer it without the OOF diagonal going throuhg the frame though.

Some may think these are overdone but I don't have one and wish I did! I find these images of dewy webs mesmerizing. Great find and capture, Justin. I would wish the diagonal OOF grasses would not be crossing the front of the web but even they have interesting dew drop bokeh lining their stems.
