A Buck's Tale #4

When we last saw our buck, Mr. Patient, he had just survived an attempt by a more dominant buck to take his chosen doe. She, hadn't responded to the new arrival so he soon left. Our hero decided to move in a little closer to his doe and continue to watch her every move. And, Bingo!, after a few minutes the doe squatted, as shown here, and she urinated, then got up and moved off. Now it will be up to Mr. Patient to see if she's is ready to breed. Tune in tomorrow. Compositionally, this photo would be better if I'd aimed more to the right and eliminated dead space on the left. But it still shows what was going on fairly well. I warmed it up slightly, resized, and sharpened. Comment and critiques are most appreciated.

A different angle may have shown the action a bit better, but still this does the trick. Interesting series, looking forward to #5.

Ditto to the comments about positioning to the camera. I agree this does a nice job of documenting behavior in a series.
