I like this because, like another image I commented on recently, it addresses the subject of gradual impermance (noting the rounded rocks, water-worn), and, therein, the alliteration in the title, "rock run", which I cannot help but believe was iintentional.

Nice image, might want to add a hint of brightness, otherwise it looks solid to me.

The flow of the water/exposure is great here Terry, but i find the top to feel a bit 'cut-off' and that is a distraction. i think it would work better with the top cropped just below the tops of the rocks.

Terry,

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery! Terrific first post here. Great job filling the frame and it looks like a good choice on the crop too. I really like the texture in the water and also the little specular highlights throughout. The composition has a nice flow and I like the balance between the rocks and flowing water. Well done.

The only suggestion I have would be to clone out the white spots near the top of the frame. they pull the eye and slightly distracting. very minor though.

Thanks for posting and we look forward to more images and for your participation in the galleries and forums.
