Another in my series with fog and aspen. This was taken within an hour of the other 2 posts and within a quarter mile of the other locations. Man, am I glad I stopped!

Thanks again for the time to comment on my last post.

Large version included.

C&C always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

TK's wizardry always.

Interesting...i love foggy shots and this is no exception! I kind of like a horizontal crop--taking off about halff the sky and the dark bottom--that way the blue 'triangle' of sky is a mirror image of the orange leaves. Nice!

I love the light in this photo Morris. The mixed colors of blue in the fogg with the golden yellows is working real nice for me. Great photo.

Really nice Morris. Beautiful color and mood. I would consider a crop off the top of 5-8% to give the image better balance.

Great mood, Morris and really fine image. Perhaps it could use a slight CW rotation?

I had the same reaction as Stan before I read his comment: Crop 1/2 the sky and either crop or dodge the bottom. Rest of the image is great. Well done.

What an awesome mood!! I love the light, colors and conditions you captured this in Morris, just beautiful. I can see the crop suggestions work well too but enjoy it very much as it is. :toast:

Man, I think everyone is glad you stopped for these amazing images, Morris. The mix of warm autumn colors, the cooler tones in the sky and that incredible fog make this fantastic. The large image is a jaw dropper.

That was some trip Morris, these are all beautiful. This looks wonderful as presented, and could even be worked to make other equally interesting comps. What a moment! Nicely done.

Great mood and atmosphere Morris! The fog gives this a very impressionistic feel. I like Stan's crop suggestion, but this works as is. Love that soft glow.

Love the mood here Morris-It's a bit dark for me at the bottom that doesn't add much for me, otherwise this is a winner.

Morris, Beautiful capture. Mood and colors perfect. I agree that a slight ccw of leaning trees on right might improve this great shot. :toast:

Morris,

Wonderful, almost mysterious mood and atmosphere with this one. I think it lacks a main subject or focal point compared to your previous images, but then again, fog and mood can certainly be a main subject. I might go along with a top crop as well to bring the emphasis lower in the frame with the warm and rich color.

I like this. I would like it with a selection of "white" background and a thin black strike frame sort of thing. But It's very nice under the assumption of that presentation
