Another from a dry wash up on the east side. I think this captures the full spectrum of the bigtooth maple autumn color range.

Oh, wow, Jim. I like the transition from gold to orange to red and the way that the path leads my eyes along this journey. Fantastic composition!!

Lovely color Jim and I like the flow. I might be tempted to burn down the rock bed a bit to balance the light. Nice intimate scene none-the-less.

Beautiful color in great light Jim. Did you consider pulling down the tone of bright rocks a little? It's a great compositional element, but seems a little too bright on my monitor.

Actually, I did hold back on the brightness and the highlights (and the blue saturation) along the dry wash bed quite a bit compared to the rest of the image. I suppose I could go a little further, but then it starts to look over-processed to me, and not what I remember in my mind's eye.

The curve of the stream bed and the arc of color of these maples makes this flat out amazing, Jim. Really, a superb image in every way.

Jim,
The title you chose really covers it all! I love the transition of color from front to back - that is quite amazing actually. And tying it all together with the cool tones of the rock front to back, well, this just works beautifully. No nits or suggestions. Well seen and captured.
