Fluffy Milkweed

Milkweed in the fall is a favorite subject of mine to photograph. I recently spent a wonderful afternoon taking many pictures of these weeds, some of which I have already posted in the Macro & Flora galleries. I couldn't resist posting one here for this challenge. They certainly are fluffy!

Canon Rebel T1i. 180mm macro lens. F/3.5 at 1/800 sec. ISO 200. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Great lighting, Carolyn, showing off lots of the details, especially the glittering threads. I like how you've filled the frame and found complementary background colors.

I like this a lot - very sharp seeds and nice comp. I might like to see the threads a little sharper - but it's tough, as the slightest breeze moves them.
