Dunlin in Morning Light

From this morning in Gulfport. We've had some pretty warm weather in the Southeast the last several days, so I was out this morning in shorts wading around the beach next to the harbor. It's not often that I can get very close to the smaller birds, but I found this Dunlin browsing in a shallow tidal pool along with some others. 4x5 crop to about 80% from 4/3rds original. Larger image included.

Great low angle, Bill. I also like your composition, the space around the dunlin and the overall colors in this image. :toast:

Really nice image!
Nice pose, great reflection, sharp detail and the low angle works perfectly.

Very nice. Love the colors and the low POV. I also like that the bill does not quite touch the water and that the "rough" water is behind the bird, giving this beautiful reflection.

Excellent. Nice to see this basic plumage and that definitive bill curve.
