The stream (or is it a canal) makes a fine leading line and adds lots of depth. It feels static to me because of how centered the waterway is, but that may be what you were looking for.

I like this composition very much. The "canal?" of water and ice pulls the viewer in to this quiet winter scene. I like the soft, but warm light in the bg as well.
I can't help but think this is a man-made waterway, canal or flooded road judging by the rock wall following along the left side. I'm going to go ahead and move this to the M&N gallery. I hope you understand and feel free to drop any of the moderators a note if you have any questions.

Nice winter scene. I agree that the canal draws you right into the scene and the reflections in the water add to the image.
