Man, so far this Monday morning has been killer in quality images, and this one is no exception. Gorgeous color, and it contrasts so nicely with the white peak. Well done Morris.

I am with Bill. Great color to contrast with the peak, along with the bonus clouds.

Morris,

Awesome Colorado autumn landscape. The large version is killer indeed. Great color, contrasts and the low hanging clouds add some seasonal drama to a wonderful scene. No nits or suggestions. Beautiful image.

Very nice weather and seasonal conditions for this. Really like the scene, though the global contrast feels a bit strong to me. The dark textures especially seem a bit dark.

Thanks, guys. :wavey:

Tony, it was pretty bright light as it was around noon when I took this, so the contrast was strong. But, I may need to revisit your wizardry to recover a little more of those areas. Thanks! :wavey:

Morris: You captured this shot at the best possible moment. I love where the clouds are and overall composition. No nits regarding the bright colors from me. Lovin the vivid orange and yellows!

The tension is fantastic here between the autumn landscape in the foreground and the winter landscape in the background. And the clouds really add so much interest. The composition feels slightly cut-off to me at the bottom. I would have liked to see more of the trees in the extreme foreground.

An alternate title suggestion ... "Winter Over Autumn". :toast:

Very nice, Morris. I like the way that the clouds are framing the peak and the autumn color sets the stage quite nicely here.

Full glory indeed Morris, and you got every bit of it. Perfect timing to catch the peak framed by the clouds, the color and contrast is quite beautiful. Sweet!

The summits separated by the clouds make for a most interesting counterpoint to the beautiful autumn foliage for me. Great work in my opinion, Morris.

This is nice..love the light quality, the detail, and colors here. The fog surrounding the bg mountains set this off. Great work Morris! :toast:

gorgeous scene, Morris, but I'm ambivalent about how much of the background mtn. is covered by fog/cloud. you are presenting some classic Colorado fall scenes. :toast:
