Meanwhile there's about 3 feet of snow....Me & a friend of mine hiked to this place last saturday and we "snowshoed" trough "hip-deep" snow. Unfortunately the weather didn't coorporate on that day. This one was taken on a diffeent day in mid october. It was an awesome morning with some incredible colors in the sky.

3 single exposure manually blended for dyynamic range.

Very cool lines and textures leading to an amazing light show and mist in the distance. What more could you ask for?

I really like the processing on this image. The blend seems very seamless. The composition is quite strong, and the rock ledge cannot help but pull you into the picture. Looks like it was a pretty precarious place to be.

Bill,

What great diversity of color both in the sky and landscape. Great job with the blend. The rock edge here maybe leaning a little cyan, but it's working for me.

I like the comp, and how the grand vista is also in play, but in general this almost feels tight to me; almost like I'd like a little more room on the sides to really get the expanse of the view in. Minor though, just an observation.

This has a "sitting on top of the world" look and feel to it.

Cool perspective! Quite a blast of color throughout, but I would concur with Lon about the cyan cast on the rock. I find it a bit pronounced.

The foreground seems to blend with the middle-ground, thought the larger version resolves that somewhat. The textures and color here are really nice. Those are some great clouds.

An impressive view for sure, Bill. Looks like the perfect way to start a day. The drama in the sky is fantastic and I like the fog in the lower lying elevations. Very nicely done.
