Mom and Daughter #2

I think this is the same pair of deer that I posted last week. A doe and a fawn in very near the same spot. Anyway, I came upon these 2 and watched them for a while and they paid very little attention to me and proceeded to do quite a bit of mutual grooming of each other. Then it seemed that they suddenly remembered about me and looked to see if I was still there. I like the fawn peeking out from the protection of mom. This is full frame with just a little bit of warming to it and sharpening for the web. Comments and critiques encouraged and appreciated.

This has a nice emotional tone. I most like the glistening dew on the grasses and the reflective quality of the eyes. The hanging branch is a bit unfortunate, but not a deal breaker.

Peter,
I really like the fawn peeking around its mother. The dew is a really nice addition too. I obviously wish that the branch wasn't there, but as Lon said, its not the end of the world. Nice shot!

Nice one Peter. The fawns' expression is great. I think you could crop some off of the top to give more focus on the deer. Would also reduce some of the busy BG. Thanks for sharing.
