Neat result, the trees seem like ghostly dancers. I could see some dodging of the trees at the very right to create a sense of ending over there.

Neat idea, and your crafting supports your intent. I love the ghosting.
Strictly as a suggestion, I'd like to see the trees on either side end within the print boundaries. Much like what Mark suggested. In my mind, it looks more like a complete picture that way.
I've said this before - the neat thing about this kind of image is that it is so economical to print. Very little ink required.

I love Mark's "ghostly dancers" - so I'm swiping his thoughts and changing the title!
Thanks, Mark!

Beautifully done Sandy. Love the mood created - real winterish. Haven't seen that here so far this year.

Sandy,

Wonderful minimalist image!. I love images that make me stop and study. It might be interesting to change your output levels in Photoshop by moving your left hand slider over to the right to the 150 area to create a bit more contrast. (photoshop>image>adjustments>levels). This has a wonderful "etching" feel to it.
