Anything but rowdy

I took this one this last fall at Rowdy Lake here in Colorado. I had the place all to myself on this morning. There was a light rain when I first arrived before dawn, but the clouds moved off allowing the light and color to come through at sunrise. There was virtually no wind making the water mirrorlike. All together one of those mornings that makes the others that don't live up to expectations worth it.

Large version included,

C&C always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

Morris, this is great as is, if I had to be really picky maybe i's say to light up the lower 2/3 of the image a hair.

Terrific lighting with some great colors, Morris. In addition, it sounds like a wonderful morning and this shows it off nicely. I'd be tempted to dodge the aspens and their reflection left of the vanishing point to add a bit more interest in the left 1/3, which is noticeably darker than the right 2/3rds.

What a shot! Well balanced composition. Nice crafting. It's the brilliance in the yellow foliage that puts this over the top for me.

A great mirror image, Morris! The colors are superb. Despite the fence, I think
that this image should also be eligible for the"Landscape" gallery, or clone out
the fence and enter the image there. Thanks for sharing.

Morris,

Gorgeous reflectionscape! I think the somewhat dark presentation is appropriate for the time of day and lighting. Fabulous color in those clouds. Great symmetry, just a beautiful image.

HOM? I've been looking and wouldn't have seen anything had it not been for Roberts comments!

Gorgeous colors and such a peaceful scene. Beautiful Morris. There appears to be some slight haloing along the ridgeline but that's an easy fix.

Gorgeous scene Morris. The trees seem to be enlightened from within. Beautiful reflection of course too.
