We have been having very changeable weather lately and some really dramatic light at times. Did some shooting in the rain. I personally like the results. Adds a very different feel that is for sure. Ducks in the rain seem to work for me.

Very nice effect! The rain could pass for snow as well. Your shutter speed was perfect to freeze the head and body of the duck while preserving some movement in the wings. The smooth colors in the BG top it off. Excellent work Ron

Great flight shot. I like the streaking rain. The bright spot under the tail keeps catching my eye; perhaps it could use some darkening.

I like how the rain adds another interesting element and nice job in handling the challenging color contrasts of the wigeon, well done Ron.

Very impressive to get this in the rain - it adds a lot of interest to an image that would be excellent even without the rain.

Very impressive image Ron, I'm glad i looked at the larger image where the rain is clearly visible. Detail on the bird looks crisp and sharp as usual. Graham

You got the widgeon coming in at a very nice angle, Ron. Great look at the underwing and head.

Good sharpness and detail and I like the wing position. The rain drops add a lot to the shot. One of your typically excellent duck shots.

Very nice, I really like the soft light on your subject. I would agree that the rain adds a certain something extra and seems to be a good fit for the duck.

Certainly not an easy shot to get of a duck in flight in this light. Great balance of settings to get this, Ron. The raindrops in the larger version are wonderful, especially coming at an angle like they are.
