Wow, this is beautiful May. The fine detail in the bird and perch is a joy to view. Very nice winter light. Congratulations on the new camera btw.

Very nice shot. Looks so natural, love the muted blue on the crown. Wouldn't change a thing.

What a pleasing image, May. I miss the blue jays back east. The scrub jays in CA aren't the same. Nicely composed with a nice pose from the jay. I like the perch and the detail in the jaunty, alert bird.

I was about to say just what Peter said - I miss the Eastern jays and am not so fond of the scrubs and stellar's in CA.
Nice pose from this little one, nice BG and really interesting perch.

I like this a lot, May. It all works well for me but I especially like the background colors and patterns with the bird and perch.

Beautiful bird, I wish we had them here. I like the sharpness and the BG - did it allow for a composition with the bird a bit more to the left?
Grt, Ingrid.
