Lots of ducks down this winter. Trying to take advantage. I was hoping this male would check-up and land. He took a good look and then flew past and landed about 50 yards to the left of where I was hiding. No decoys used except live ones already on the water.

Very nice flight shot. Great detail and nice light. A beautiful duck. So far I can't get close enough to these ducks for a good shot.
