The warm and cool colors here are fantastic -- especially the yellow/orange of the softly backlit leaves. Your inclusion of the tree in the upper right corner is very important to the composition. It helps keep my eye in the photo --- otherwise, the perspective that leads from left to right would eject my eye right through the right side of the composition. Very nice work, and an excellent choice for the last photo before the end of the world. :-)

I agree with Ben, especially concerning the URC. That tree balances the image very well. Nice image to keep in my head till the world goes boom!

Beautiful colors, Michael, and I do like the window to the layers behind that your composition allows. I am looking forward to that season again!

This image is definitely about color, and your color palette here is wonderful. The contrast between the warm oranges and the blue hillside define it. Well done.

Love the terrain and hairpin turns created for the eye to follow! Good color and perspective.

Well, at least you're going out with a bang.
I like your composition and how you have created separation between the foreground and background and yet at the same time there is a nice flow from front to back. I love those orange aspen as well!!

Oh shoot, I forgot about the end of the world. Just to busy to get ready for it. When's the next one?
