Here is another image from the salt river taken from the same spot, just later after much of the nice light had dissipated. This is a stitch of nine vertical images when the moon poked through the clouds. As always, comments and critiques appreciated. Please view the large version.

The soft light on the rock faces is very nice here, too. Not as intense as in your previous post, yet still beautiful.

Personally, I like lightly soft reflections than sharp.
Vey nice moody, nice colors, clouds

A captivating shot! The light on the rock is warm and inviting, strengthened by the fall colored trees below. The rock is a nice reference foreground element. I like the sky of left side...but the lower 2/3's lacks the interest and lighting of the right side. Nicely done.

The lighting is superb here, and the pink cloud highlights top off the image. Would love to see the detail, I'm sure this contains, in an enormous print. Really like the processing...

Gorgeous Peter! Although much more subdued than you previous image from here, I think I like this more; the soft light on the mountain is beautiful, the sky/clouds are beautiful and the moon adds a nice finishing touch. Love this one.

Thank you everyone, this was taken about 30 minutes after the previous image when the sun just dipped below the horizon creating the nice pastel colors over the cliffs and subtle colors in the sky.

I think I like this one even better. The balance of light and color here is very appealing.

Man, this one is even better than the last. The pano works great here, the reduced Orton allows the natural beauty to come through and the light and color, and even the moment caught are outstanding. :toast: :toast:
