This was taken at Shawnee Lake in Pa after swimming... I know the foreground could be lightened, nut then I lose the effec of the moon over the lake.

Holly,
A lovely scene and wonderful moment. The moon, and it's reflection that you noted shine brightly here. I also like the graphical element of the swimming buoys.
The noise here is significant; most notably in the sky, but still a nice image.
For hopefully obvious reasons, I'm going to move this to the Man & Nature gallery after posting my comments. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send one of us mods a note. It would be great and other members would appreciate some comments on other members images.
thanks for posting!

The moon is a beautiful color one doesn't see very often, and I especially like the detail in it; it is not blown out. Beautiful scene.

Nice one Holly, I love the mood and the scene. I am just wondering of that is noise or posterization affecting the image quality? May be from re-sizing??/

This is a very pastoral scene. So many times in my life have I seen that moon over the Appalachians. I, too, wish there weren't so much noise, but then again, perhaps it gives the image some character.

The noise is probably from cropping or resizing...
