Badlands National Park

The first thing that came to mind when I saw this landscape was Burrough's Mars Novels. May be my favorite of the National Parks I've visited so far.

Nikon D800
Zeiss 50mm macro
Lightroom, PS, Nik suite - mostly HDR pro

Comments and suggestions welcome.

wow, craaaazy scene here, love the HDR edit, it brought out nice detail and colors, also its nice to see clean edges without auras what often happens by editing, well done!

What an energetic scene! For some reason it almost seems to move or have just stopped moving when I look at it....even the mountain!

Wow. This image is nothing short of intriguing. The detail & texture that you've extracted is incredible. Very believable, yet unworldly.

Great HDR image, I love it. You know, you really get a sense of being there at the time this image was taken. That is what photography is all about, telling a story and this tells a story for sure. Please email me - I wanted to speak to you about the Nikon D800
