I would like to wish all of you a happy and health new year.

Image taken on Christmas Day. Lodgepole Pine ‘Chief Joseph’. It looks like a golden flower in the snow.

D90, 28-105mm, f/4.5, 1/125, ISO 200, +1 EV, CPL, 90% of full frame.

It does look like a gold flower. I like this, Yun. The contrasting blue in the snow is perfect as well for the background. Well seen and captured.

Very nice. I like the contrast between the warm yellow (gold) and the cool blue. Well composed. I like how the branch emerges from under the snow and how the semitransparent snow covers part of the needles. And the snow in the center adds to it. Simple subject well captured.

Yun: Most excellent. I especially like your exposure of the snow and how you maintained the texture. This kind of lighting is one of my favorites as well. Happy New Year to you; you're off to a great start. >=))>

This is quite an eye-catching image! I like the lighting in this and how it helps give a golden glow to the already gold pine needles. Nice comp, good details and great color combo. Well done!

Outstanding detail and just the right DOF and focus point. The blue & gold color combination never fails.
