This is a nice, unique image. The scale of the cactus and the hummer keeps things in perspective. I wish we had a larger view to see the details. In this image, there is a very noticeable halo around the hummer on the edge with the background. Not sure what processing was done to introduce it.

I used LR. I see it. I don't know how to add a larger size photo. This was taken early morning. I'll look for the original.

Hi Elizabeth:
To post a larger version (1200 px on the long edge) along with the regular image (720 px on the long edge), all you need to do is create a separate larger copy of the image that you've prepared for uploading. Then on the page you get when you click on "Post a Photo", note that there is an option at the bottom of the window labeled "Upload an optional Larger .jpg Photo (1200 pixels/500kb maximum):". That is where you attach the larger version. Hope that helps.
Regards,
Keith

This is very nice, halo aside. The crop and color look good. Not sure what causes the halo, but I've seen it before when I've processed contrasty images against a flat background.

Gorgeous shot. I like the warm color on the cactus. Wish I could see more of the hummer's face.

What a terrific perch for this guy. Only thing I'd wish for is the head turned towards you a bit more.
