The tidal striae make for interesting textural display. I like both the s-curve between water and sand and the textural differences. Nice yin-yan depiction.

Wonderful textures and shapes David. Love the ethereal atmosphere most of all though. I attempted a couple of images like this in Nova Scotia this autumn but the wind was too fierce creating choppy water. This is absolutely beautiful.

David, I like the other one but I like this one even more. This is wonderful!. Your composition is striking and I love the light, color, patterns and textures. You really pulled everything together here to make a fantastic image. I love the feel!

Nice abstract. I especially like the contrast between the textured sand and the smooth water/sky. Might be worth lightening the sand just a tish...not enough to reduce the sense of its cntrast, but just to bring out a wee bit more detail? It's worth experimenting, anyway.

David,

Your previous image was so mysterious and of course completely different than this one here. This is so very simple, yet it seems like there is much to explore. I'm really enjoying the three different "sections" of the image and how it seems that the water is divided in to two distinct ones. The color/hues between those areas are lovely as well. The light blue up top works especially well in framing this image. good eye in crafting this.

This is a beautiful image and peaceful. The intricate patterns, the range of browns, the greys and blues all work so well here. Good Job!!! Chet

While your previous image was to me all about ambiguity and getting one to think, this image seems to be all about contrasts, between the defined, textured beach on the right half, and the soft, pastel colors and tones on the left hand side, separated by the wonderful, graceful arc of the beach. Stunning art.

The complexity in these seemingly simple natural patterns has been portrayed to perfection. I am enjoying this very much.
